Abstract :
A DSP-based satellite Earth station modem is described. The modem is capable of handling data bit rates from 128 to 32768 bit/s in steps of 1 bit/s. The spreading code chip rate is 3 Mchip/s. The modem implementation is described and the performance based on extensive tests is reported
