Abstract
The MEI coefficients in the measured equation of invariance (MEI) method for the 2-D conducting concave structure are obtained. The metrons an selected as the induced currents on the surface calculated by method of moments under several different excitations. The induced currents on the cylindrical surface under TM and TE incidence obtained by MEI method agree well with those by MoM. It can be concluded that the MEI equation is valid for the 2-D conducting structures. It is shown that the MEI is one type of the numerical boundary termination conditions.
