Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to model the operation of a thermoelectric generator (TEG), in order to simulate the process of power generation and control a converter connected between the TEG and the load. The Perturb and Observe (P&O) technique is validated by screening and operation of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in generation systems based on TEG. The operation at maximum power point is obtained by changing the key´s duty cycle of a DC-DC converter, chopper, boost type. To test the modeling and the correct operation of the P&O technical algorithm, a resistive load with different values for the same generation conditions was used.
