  • Abstract
    Based with the known parameters, the plan of mud turbine generator for mine is optimized. The optimal turbines are designed and simulated. The performance curves of shaft power, pressure drop and efficiency to rotate speed are obtained separately. The performance of the designed mud turbine is insured to meet the requirements. The performance experiments are carried on the prototype of mud turbine generator for mine with the clear water medium in the closed cycle experiment equipments. The results show that the output power is greater than 100 W and the pressure drop is less than 0.15 MPa. All the technical norms can reach performance requirements.
