Abstract :
In order to provide the drivers a better parking guidance service, a multi-agent approach for parking negotiation and guidance is proposed in this paper. Based on distributed control theory, a city is divided into a number of districts each of which is equipped with a parking information service center (PISC). A distributed multi-phase method based on a two-layer traffic map is employed for parking routes navigation. Besides, a route negotiation algorithm is also proposed in this paper. The agents thus can work cooperatively to execute the parking routes guidance without the intervention of drivers and parks.
