Abstract
A corrected averaged model for current mode regulators is presented. The total loop gain is derived and analyzed for buck and boost converters. It is shown that analysis of the input filter´s effect on the regulator is simplified when this overall loop gain is used. The criteria to be applied to the design of input filters with current-mode control are the same as those developed for direct duty ratio control
