Abstract
Wide application of computers in teaching and learning processes has not solved the problem of integrated description of classroom objects in these environments. This description would be beneficial at the application of advanced modeling and simulation in higher education processes towards a more intelligent application of computers. The authors analyzed some results in this area and published findings in practice oriented characteristics of course models in their earlier works. In this paper, they analyze resources for a more advanced virtual classroom system. Following this, definition and application of course features and course program execution processes are discussed in order to achieve a relationship based scheme of course model in order to achieve practice representation capable course modeling. Next, some essential issues are introduced for course structure, course definition procedures, and engineering processes. Finally, some introductory ideas are given for the implementation of virtual teaching and learning systems in engineering education.
