Abstract :
Graduate and undergraduate student consultants are providing support in the technology transfer/commercialization process at both its initial and on-going stages through the Small Business Institutes at 500 colleges and universities in the United States. The SBI programs probably function more effectively if there is already a prototype or a product or service which may need to be adapted to specific markets or the company needs to figure out if it should produce the product itself, license it, or form an alliance
