Abstract
Several methods have already been developed in order to solve the problem of restoring blurred images corrupted by gaussian noise. The authors´ goal is to adapt these methods to synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images. This kind of images has particular properties that they describe. Modifications to the methods are then suggested. The choice of the algorithm allowing the computation of the smoothed image is discussed. Some results on simulated and real images are then presented
