Abstract
While data transmission for communications requires delivering the data with high reliability, an information gathering of sensor networks gives importance to real time data gathering and low power consumption. The information gathering based on packet communication like IEEE802.15.4/Zigbee has some problems in the aspects of real time information gathering, overhead of an access protocol and large power consumption. Therefore, we have proposed a concept of sensing information gathering methods by converting sensing information to radio parameters like frequency and time to gather the statistical distribution of information and location of multiple sensor nodes. In this paper, we introduce a design policy of the proposed novel sensing information gathering methods and show the examples of the applications. These methods can simultaneously gather the sensing information from multiple sensor nodes to a fusion center. The required sensing information is recovered by analyzing gathered information to achieve required accuracy of information at the fusion center.
