  • Abstract
The combustion and emission simulation models are established with a CFD software on a small non-road air cool DI Diesel Engine fueled with bio-diesel and diesel. The experiment cylinder pressure curves are used to verifies the validity of the models. The simulation results show that the start of combustion time is advance 0.9°CA and the end of combustion is advance 2.5°CA at the same injection advance angle, the Nox emisson increases 17.6% and Soot emission reduces 44% when fueled with bio-diesel compared with diesel. NOx and Soot emission at injection advance angle 17°CA fueled with diesel is the same as injection advance angle 14°CA fueled with bio-diesel.
