Abstract :
Among the features of content-bused retrieval, color features provide important clues to search similar image contents. In this paper, we propose a new method, color plane moment (CPM), which combines color content and its spatial distribution to improve image query results. The method integrates the ideas of a color histogram, back projection, and moments. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed technique
