Abstract
The oscillatory MHD gas flow in slip flow regimes has been studied analytically. The governing equations of motion and energy are used considering the MHD effects and a slip boundary condition on the walls. The equations are non-dimensionalized and coupled equations of motion and heat transfer are solved analytically. The non-dimensionalized velocity and temperature are plotted with respect to the microchannel´s height and the effects of magnetic field on these parameters are investigated. The results show that by imposing a magnetic field the slip effects decrease. The heat transfer could be controlled in oscillatory gas flows by external magnetic fields.
