  • Abstract
    Steganography it is an art of secret transmission by embedding data into multimedia and steganalysis is an attacking technology on steganography, which can be used to judge the existence of secret data, decode and even destroy it. An effective steganalysis method should measure the characteristics of embedded messages and digital image and give decision about steganography. Most recent steganalysis technique considers characteristics of digital image but neglects the characteristics of embedded data. A novel general steganalysis method based on rough set theory is proposed here. It considers both characteristics of embedded messages and digital image and give decisions from huge data set of steganographic signature. In the experiments, the method is proved to be effective and applicable.
