Abstract :
The vector control system of variable speed constantfrequency (VSCF) doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) for wind turbine was developed, the vector controller was achieved using PI control. Based on these, the variable-speed constant-frequency DFIG running in the whole working wind speed range is studied by simulations. Fast response, small overshoot, high precision, strong adaptability and highly robustness are obtained by the proposed strategy.
