Abstract
The present work is devoted to the optimisation of mode-locked nonselective external cavity GaAlAs multisegment laser diode (LD) with the purpose of obtaining regular trains of short monopulses with maximum peak and average output power and controllable chirp for two-photon optical memory experiments
