  • Abstract
For the problems that the motion state of vane driving wheel has polygon effect, making the machine tool equipped with vane driving wheel being difficult to travel and transfer between workplace, based on the principle of mechanism transformation, a new type of driving wheel mechanism which can convert between round wheel and vane wheel is designed. Basic composition of the mechanism is introduced, its change rate and scope of the radius are analysed. A small cultivator which is equipped with vane driving wheel is chosen as the application research object, a corresponding prototype is designed and made, then the trial of soil slot is done, the results show that performances of sink quantity, slide conversion rate, coefficient of driving force of the wheel, etc, are all better than the old type wheel, and it also has the features of simple structure, convenient transformation. The above problems are effectively solved, the basic performance of the related mechanism is improved, the road for its widespread popularization application is paved.
