Abstract :
A new kind of length counting device based on compensation function is designed. It is composed of the rotary encoders, proximity switches and CPU, etc. This counting device can be used for the paper, plastic film or steel plate´s roll cutting machine and rewinding machine. It can compensate for the length loss of the sheet roll caused by the roll breaking, and have more accurate counting. This paper designs and discusses its principles, and proves it in the production practice.
