Abstract
We modified small-signal MOSFET models with affine arithmetic concepts. The model elements were redistributed so they are meaningfully grouped and better correlated. The modified models are more compact, easier to handle (even at the highest accuracy level the model leads to simpler circuit expressions) and provide better insight into the analysis of large analog circuits. The results presented in this paper show that the modified models generate compact circuit expressions with a significant reduction in the number of terms. This leads to reduced computational complexity and simulation time when compared with analysis using conventional models.
