Abstract :
Loss Model of induction motor is provided, however, this method depends on machine parameters. What is more, it is not easy to realize. The Search technique does not have the problems of the LMC as outlined, but it sometimes need too much time. The hybrid search method uniquely combines Loss Model and golden section technique. If load torque or speed command changes, the efficiency search algorithm is abandoned and rated flux is established to get best transient response. Finally, the simulation and experiment have been tested to validate usefulness of the proposed techniques.
