Abstract :
A novel PWM inverter using the direct amplitude compensation algorithm is proposed in this paper. The direct amplitude compensation algorithm is very simple so that the pulse width in each sampling interval can be computed very easily. Thus, the real-time online digital feedback control becomes more feasible. The new control algorithm provides a good harmonic suppression and voltage recovery ability as the load is suddenly changed. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the proposed algorithm
