Abstract :
This paper shows the mathematical analysis of the proposed input line current harmonic cancellation technique in the discontinous-inductor-current-mode (DICM) boost converters for any ratio of the output DC voltage to the line voltage amplitude. This line-frequency harmonic cancellation which is filter-free is shown in association with the interleaving technique for the DICM boost converter. Similar results have been achieved only with the boost converter operating in continuous conduction mode. Simulation and practical results which demonstrate and prove the theoretical analysis of this new line-frequency harmonic cancellation technique are also shown
