Abstract :
How to model and simulate high frequency (HF) link is a key and difficult problem in HF communication network simulation system. As an excellent networks simulation software, OPNET provides 14 wireless pipeline stages to support wireless link simulation. However, these pipeline stages are unsuitable for HF link due to its special propagation mode. In order to simulate HF link correctly and efficiently, some wireless pipeline stages are mended and optimized in this paper. The mended pipeline stages are used in a pratical HF communication network simulation system. The intuitionistic contrast result between the simulation and practical ones can not be provided because of the absence of particular practical data, but the whole running and joint debugging results indicate the simulation result´s correctness and the validity of pipeline stages.
