Abstract :
A type of near-field antenna for RFID reader is proposed, which has folded-dipole antenna structure. A parasitic capacitance patch is inserted on the gap between two arms of folded-dipole antenna to adjust the antenna impedance. It´s shown by simulation that near-field antenna is efficient to reduce antenna dimension for UHF RFID reader.
