Abstract
In this contribution, we demonstrate time-to-space mapping with 12% conversion efficiency using type I noncritical phase matching in a potassium niobate (KNbO3) nonlinear crystal (NLC). This increase in efficiency by more than two orders of magnitude may allow the construction of systems using time-to-space mapping in conjunction with smart pixel optoelectronic device arrays to perform sophisticated ultrafast pulse processing operations repeatable at communication rates
