Preparing panoramic pictures for visualization of city agglomerations

This paper describes the process of preparing panoramic pictures for the presentation module of our 3D city agglomerations visualization system. First, script creation is discussed, which allows the smooth redraw of model given by the transition path. Second part of the paper deals with rendering settings for photorealistic outputs. Third part is about using network rendering for speeding rendering calculations. Next part is about the panoramic images creation from the animation. The result of this work is the script for creating animations and panoramic images, serving as geographic information of individual positions on the map. This result is compared to another approach using digital camera for shooting panoramas.
