Abstract :
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) are technologies that be widely used and have a profound impact on human society. This paper puts forward a WSID identification platform of heterogeneous network which integrates wireless sensor networks technology, RFID technology, GIS location technology together. The platform uses dual-frequency-and-dual-protocol RFID readers to identify the Smart Tags and RFID tags in the network and collect the tags positioning and environmental information. GIS technology can display the Smart Tags´ location information through the electronic map in real time, realizing monitoring as well as the positioning of the entire network. This paper introduces the structure and the components of WSID heterogeneous network, describes the working principle of the platform as well as the communication flow of each module.
