Abstract
This paper presents the analysis and design of a small size, low profile, multi-band square Koch fractal dipole antenna. The proposed antenna design, analysis and characterization have been performed using the method of moments (MoM) technique. The new designed antenna has operating frequencies of 464 MHz, 1313 MHz, 4640 MHz, and 5104 MHz with acceptable bandwidth, which has useful applications in wireless communication systems, and at these frequencies the proposed antenna has reflection coefficient <; -10 dB. The radiation characteristics, VSWR, gain, and reflection coefficient of the proposed antenna are described and simulated using 4NEC2 software package.
