Abstract :
One of the most critical activities of remote sensing consists of the identification of different cover types on land surfaces. In this work, the authors´ interest is focused on the location and discrimination of the almond and olive fields in remote sensing images with high spatial and spectral resolution. These crops play an important role in the agricultural economy of the Mediterranean countries
