Abstract
This paper is concerned with the filtering problem for both discrete-time stochastic linear (DTSL) system and discrete-time stochastic nonlinear (DTSN) system. In DTSL system, an optimal filter with packet dropouts is designed across unreliable wireless sensor networks (WSNs); In DTSN system, a suboptimal filter is derived by similar method over unreliable WSNs. An application example is given and corresponding simulation results show that the proposed filters are effective compared by standard Kalman filter (KF) or extended Kalman filter (EKF) in WSNs.
