Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel trusted routing scheme under consideration to communication reliability and path length for reliable packet delivery in VANET (Vehicular Ad hoc Network). We introduce the concept of attribute similarity to find some potential friendly nodes among strangers. Also we put forward a new forwarding rule based on attribute similarity, give some recommendatory methods to calculate attribute similarity. The simulations show that the proposed scheme behaves better than DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) protocol on standing against malicious nodes.
