Abstract
In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control is designed to control the axis position of DC motor. Position and velocity of shaft are used for controlling performance. lyapunov equation is used to show stability of closed loop system. In fuzzy part, Takagi-Sugeno model is employed to produce input signal. To consider the efficiency of the controller, the proposed controller is compared with other methods. Numerical results show ability of controller to produce smooth input signal that results the position of shaft tracks the reference signal with minimum error.
