  • Abstract
The un-modeled systematic errors are inevitable in the process of GPS baseline solution. A single epoch algorithm based on the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) is presented, which has the advantage of mitigating the error effects outside the mathematic model. EMD provides a new method for analyzing signals from a nonlinear viewpoint, and decomposes a time series into a finite and often small number of Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs). The scenario of GPS baseline solution based on single epoch is suggested. The Double-Difference (DD) observation equation was given and the ambiguities were obtained by the Lambda algorithm. Thereafter, baseline vectors can be calculated through DD observation and the fix ambiguities epoch by epoch. Three schemes are designed to verify the proposed mode and the experimental results show that the proposed mode remarkably improves the reliability of GPS baseline solution after mitigation the un-modeled systematic errors.
