Abstract
The anechoic chamber built in the Kyushu Institute of Technology in 1998 can be configured as a semi-anechoic chamber as well as a fully anechoic one in the frequency range of from 30 MHz to 10 GHz, having a thickness of about 10 cm by using a foamed ferrite as the new absorbing material. The normalized site attenuation (NSA) of the fully anechoic chamber is within ±4 dB to the theoretical value in the frequency range from 30 MHz to 18 GHz, and the NSA of semi-anechoic chamber is also within ±4 dB to the NSA specified by CISPR in 30 MHz-1 GHz
