Abstract
Many approaches are being pursued to improve the effectiveness of software development. Two important approaches are the development of tools to aid the programmer and reuse of code to reduce the programmer´s work. The Renata Project at VUW has begun investigating combining both approaches. We report on our experience in developing tools that directly support the reuse of code in software development
