Abstract
This paper outlines the development of an integrated system for the design, simulation and real-time prototyping of motion control systems, based on the Simulink and Real Time workshop (RTW) package from MathWorks and a PC32 DSP card from Innovative Integration, the entire process of design, simulation through to final prototyping takes place in an integrated environment, without the need to write a single line of code, once the prototype controller is working satisfactorily, the final code can be easily ported to a standalone controller board
