Abstract :
Background value in grey model GM(1,1) is an important factor to precision and adaptability. It is proposed that the traditional background is replaced by new reconstruction approach to background value of GM(1,1) based on Gauss-Legendre formula .Theory and simulation shows the new construction approach can greatly improve the precision of GM(1,1) and widen its application range.
