Abstract :
The effect of polymer permittivity on wave absorption in the quasimicrowave band has been clarified for polymer composites containing magnetic metal particles. It was found that the higher the real part and the lower the imaginary part of the permittivity, the thinner the absorber. However, in polymer or polymer composites, the real increases with an increase in the imaginary part. This means one must carefully choose the polymer species at the crossing area of the real and imaginary parts of the permittivity when designing absorbers
