Abstract
A multi-functioned EM-wave absorbers are investigated. As one of these fundamental concepts, light reflecting, light emitting and EM-wave radiating type absorbers have been proposed. First, the methods of controlling the matching frequency are investigated as a key technology to realize these kinds of EM-absorber. Simple methods for controlling the matching frequency using magnetized ferrite, ferrite combined with other materials, and ferrite with small holes are summarized. In particular, the detailed matching characteristics of ferrite with small holes are investigated theoretically and experimentally. Secondly, as examples of multi-functional absorbers, the matching characteristics of the light reflecting and the light emitting absorbers at frequencies of 2.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz are clarified
