Abstract :
This paper presents results of an experimental study on magnetic shielding effect of finite width planar sheets. The actual performance of the shield is dependent upon several parameters, such as material type, source orientation, and distance of the source and the measurement points from the shield. It is found that the double-layer shield of highly conductive and ferromagnetic material has a better shielding performance
