Abstract :
Traditional methods for evaluation of power supply capability in medium voltage distribution networks usually need calculations of a number of separated technical indicators, leading to difficulties in overall judgment and quantitative reflection of the actual supply capability of the entire distribution networks. The approximate reasoning and decision-making method of the fuzzy theory are employed in this paper to establish a detailed evaluation model for the power supply capability of the distribution networks. Not only the quantitative results of effecting factors, but also an assessment of the supply capacity of the city´s medium voltage networks can be obtained. For validation, the proposed method is applied to the power supply capability evaluation of a southern China city, and the quantitative results of the supply capability are obtained.
