Abstract :
In this paper, the bifurcation and chaos motion in a stable Duffing system is examined by means of both of the phase plot and the Lyapunov exponents. The relationship between the Lyapunov exponents and both of the periods doubling bifurcation and symmetry breaking bifurcation are shown in detail.
