  • Abstract
Much attention is being given to the development of low orbit communications systems. An analysis of the available materials shows the following. The majority of the proposed systems are devised to operate with a large number of spacecraft (from 36 to 66). In most cases, rather complex apparatus, which incorporate a control system, propulsion plant, command radio link and intersatellite communications facilities, are used as the communication spacecraft
