Abstract :
There is much research on the applications of millimeter waves, especially the 60 GHz band. In particular, the radar for an automobile collision warning system is one of the most researched areas. As for the realization of such a system, it is necessary to prevent malfunction of the radar in the system due of the reflection from the guardrail etc. We aimed at realizing epoxy-modified urethane rubber because it had a good durability for outdoor use. The samples were made using an experimental equation permittivity and the content of carbon particles at 60 GHz band. As a result, a good millimeter wave absorber was realized using epoxy-modified urethane rubber mixed with carbon particles
