Abstract :
A generalized collaboration network with preferential attachment is proposed in this paper, in which the number of collaborators in a collaboration project is a random variable, and the collaborators are selected preferentially from the existing network. The analytical expressions for the degree distribution are obtained based on the techniques of markov chain theory, theoretical results shows that the generalized collaboration network is scale-free., with the degree exponent greater than 2.
