  • Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyze the pollutant control effect of push-pull ventilation system. The condition whether the wind flow distribution of the inlet is uniform h as great influence on the pollutant collection efficiency of th e whole system. In this paper, we make comparative analysis of experimental data and numerical simulation results, which shows that when using the parallel flow push-pull ventilation system, during the altitude range of 1.6m-1.7m in the human breathing zone, the average concentration of formaldehyde is 5.38*10-5kmol/m3, comparatively lower than the value 1.74*10-4kmol/m3 when using the shutter inlet push-pull ventilation system. The results indicate that compared with th e shutter inlet push-pull ventilation system, the parallel flow push-pull ventilation system has a better pollutant control efficiency.
