  • Abstract
    Choosing and designing of the flexure hinges are the keys for the compliant mechanisms.This paper deduced the precise calculation formula of the compliance of circular flexure hinge. The structure of flexure hinge in the fully compliant micro-mechanisms of five-link was optimized with optimization toolbox of MATLAB. The performance of the mechanism was improved after optimization.
