Abstract
For the h-Chase (1972) decoding, we investigate some testing conditions that reduce the computational complexity without degradation of the error performance. We show a method for evaluating the testing conditions by reforming them into integer programming problems (IPPs). Some formulas for evaluating a few testing conditions are obtained by solving the IPPs
