Abstract :
We not only want to use one of diffraction components to design a new device that can reduce cost, volume of component, and raise efficiency of interconnect, but also combine the capability of OADM and switch. With applying the polarization theory and the devices of wave-plate, polarizing beam splitter and grating generated this new system, which can combine two functions of OADM and SWITCH simultaneously.
