Abstract :
With Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) being the primary application in many companies today, system integration is becoming inevitable. The aim of this paper is to identify existing ERP integration issues faced by companies in Mauritius (by conducting a survey) and to analyse existing methodologies and techniques used for ERP integration. Subsequently a new methodology and a new framework are proposed to minimise business process management issues and data level integration in ERP integration. The new methodology and the new framework have been introduced by considering the limitations of existing methodologies and integration issues faced by companies in Mauritius. Four scenarios have been used to test the new proposal using Navision as the ERP and integrating it with other systems.
